‘Blue Bloods’ season 5, episode 6 preview: Rebecca Mader guest-stars; Frank and Danny’s struggle

There is quite a bit to like on the next new episode of “Blue Bloods,” and we feel like this statement may be especially true in the event that you are a big-time fan of ABC’s “Lost.” Rebecca Mader, who you may remember as Charlotte from that show (or Zelena the Wicked Witch from “Once Upon a Tiem”) is going to guest-star in a prominent role. Not only that, but Frank and Danny are going to have a potentially crazy case to go along with it.

The title for this particular installment is “Most Wanted,” and you can see more of what you can expect in the synopsis below:

“Frank and Danny are determined to put away an international felon who repeatedly manages to walk away from murder charges, but they struggle to come up with the necessary evidence to earn a conviction.  Meanwhile, Erin debates going into private practice when she looks into college costs for Nicky, and Danny butts heads with his new boss.”

The thing that we are actually the most surprised about right now upon looking at this synopsis is simply the matter of Halloween … and the lack thereof. You’re going to be bold enough to air a new episode of a show on October 31 (and on a Friday no less), and yet you’re not going to even make a wink or a nod? Maybe something like that will be there, but we’re not getting to see it in the promotional material.

If nothing else, at least you still have Mader to look forward to!
