‘The Mentalist’ season 7 spoilers: Who is coming back from the past?
If we are looking at the final season of “The Mentalist” coming up, then there is one thing that we’d hope for from the show: Plenty of reminders of all of the good stuff that has come our way over the past several years.
Well, the latest news we have right now shows that the series seems to be reasonably committed to this. Per a report coming in now from TVLine, M.C. Gainey and Tangie Ambrose are going to be back on CBS as Pete and Sam Barsocky. It’s been a while since we’ve seen either character, but we do like that this does really feel like a little bit of a throwback to some of the show’s earlier days. If you were one of those people who were around back when the show was still getting started, odds are that you may especially appreciate this.
What’s rather interesting about the lead-up to the final season of the show airing is that while we have heard a little bit about casting and some other story details, we’re still waiting on learning a thing or two more when it comes to one other question: What in the world is going to be happening with Jane and Lisbon? While the two are seemingly together, we haven’t been given much information as to what that means.
What we can at least say for now is that you’ll see more of this story playing out on CBS come early 2015, and we will have a specific premiere date as soon as possible.

I will be very disappointed if we do not get to see the whole gang back together at the end. I need to see Van Pelt and Rigsby.
