‘Dancing with the Stars’ 19 results: Was Michael Waltrip, Janel Parrish, or Jonathan Bennett eliminated?

Could “Dancing with the Stars” deliver a shock elimination tonight? Going into it, we felt like it was either finally the week for Michael Waltrip to race right out of the competition, or Jonathan Bennett would be taking his final step. We’d feel worse for the latter, mostly because he’s been one of those guys who has tried really hard, but for some reason still struggled when it came to the results in the end.

Ironically, these two both performed much better tonight (better than Tommy Chong or Antonio Sabato Jr.), but they were each also in jeopardy for most of the show. One of the other surprises was seeing Janel Parrish in there, as well, given what we have seen her do on the competition so far along with the “Pretty Little Liars” army.

We were sad for Jonathan, but it wasn’t a shock that it was his time. He is one of those dancers who is popular, but not popular enough that fans will vote for him over someone else. We just hope that he was able to use this platform for something, and get some more great roles moving forward.

As for how in the world Michael is still standing, we attribute it to the “aw, shucks” demeanor and the same Southern voters who kept Bill Engvall in the competition so long. Heck, at this point Emma Slater may be on her way to being a favorite of many of these people who are out there.

We’ll have to see what happens on next week’s new episode, but controversy is already brewing over the vote!
