‘The Flash’ spoilers: ‘General Hospital’ actor to mentor Iris West

Iris -It’s easy to spend most of the time when it comes to “The Flash” talking about the character of Barry Allen and the uber-evil people that he will square off with, mostly because these same people are at the center of the series.

However, at times, isn’t it important to remember that there are some other important faces on the show as well? One of these people is Iris West, who has a very significant role right now beyond just “possible love interest.” She is doing some deep digging on the mysterious “red streak” that is traveling around Central City doing good, and she may have have some help with this in the future. When this comes to Barry keeping his secret, this is probably not great news.

According to Deadline, “General Hospital” and “One Life to Live” veteran Roger Howarth is checking in to the smash CW hit in the role of Mason Bridge, an extremely success journalist who Iris can look up to for many reasons. His specific role will be helping this character investigate what is really going on with Harrison Wells, who the public thinks of as the pariah who caused all the mayhem and insanity following the particle accelerator disaster at STAR Labs.

We’re not entirely sure that we would be doing anything that involves getting near Harrison Wells right now, but we also have the great benefit if seeing more of what the guy is up to at this particular moment. Iris and Mason are not privy to his deadly or clairvoyant ways.

With all of this being said, let’s now look a little closer to the immediate future for some of the characters on this show.
