‘The Amazing Race 25’ preview: Kym & Alli versus a receipt

“The Amazing Race” really loves irony this season. Last week, the show made a big story regarding firefighters Michael & Scott dealing with an injury, only for there to be an issue with directions that got them sent home.

This week, you may have Kym & Alli, who are known on the show for being cyclists, who may actually struggle during a challenge that features cycling as a key component. Granted, the sneak peek below makes it clear that their real problem is not navigation, at least not anywhere near as much as their inability to find a receipt that is a key to completing the task properly. As a result of this, the two may have to go back and do things all over again … unless they find it. The way this particular sneak peek ends, it feels possible like they still manage to find it.

We really don’t want to see these two eliminated yet! In addition to being good racers, they’ve also been pretty fun through a few legs. It also seems more like the show really cast some strong female teams capable of winning this time, which they haven’t always done in the past. It’s also been a good while since we had the last female / female team win.

If they can pull this receipt problem off, there’s a chance that the two could actually come in first place at the end of the leg. After all, another promo for this leg showed dentists Misty & Jim actually having a problem with something … which you really should take advantage of, given that it does not happen very much when it comes to this show.
