‘Bones’ season 10 spoilers: When could Wendell return to work?

Take a look -For those of you who have been pulling hard for Wendell on “Bones” season 10, we come today bearing some pretty good news: You will be seeing him back in the Jeffersonian soon enough, potentially even with good news about his battle with cancer.

When will this take place? Think along the lines of the October 30 episode entitled “The Corpse in the Convention,” which we would hope would have more of a Halloween theme than it seems to. (Then again, it must be hard to really have that since this show has qualities of Halloween basically throughout the entire year.)

You can see some more scoop in terms of what to expect right now via the official synopsis:

“The Jeffersonian team attends a forensic science convention with Brennan delivering the keynote speech, only to discover the remains of a body in a stairwell at the convention. With numerous convention attendees offering help and their products, evidence points to Dr. Hodgins as a suspect and the team has to find a way to prove his innocence. Meanwhile, Brennan runs into her publishing rival, Tess Brown (guest star Nora Dunn) and “squintern” Wendell Bray (guest start Michael Grant Terry) has news about his cancer diagnosis and returns to work with Jeffersonian team.”

One of the reasons we’re expecting good news about Wendell right now is ultimately rather simple: How would the show be able to follow up one horrible thing (the death of Sweets) with another? All of that just feels like a little too much for a show we still consider to be for the most part lighthearted and fun.
