‘Arrow’ season 3 spoilers: ‘The Flash’s’ Grant Gustin to cameo in premiere

Arrow -What goes around comes around, right? During the premiere for “The Flash” last night, Stephen Amell stopped by briefly for a cameo as Oliver Queen. With that in mind, it only seems fitting that we would also see Grant Gustin stop by for a visit on the “Arrow” season 3 premiere tonight.

Gustin confirmed the news today with a post on his Twitter account below, which gives you one more reason to tune in. While we don’t think that “Arrow” is going to draw the same ratings as “The Flash” did Tuesday night (the biggest for The CW in years), we do think the existence of one show is almost certainly going to benefit the other. After all, both have the luxury of being great pieces of entertainment, with the only real difference being that “Arrow” is almost the darker, more serious older brother in the relationship. Both products clearly bring some cool stuff to the table.

Tonight, the “Arrow” story is going to revolve mostly around an attempt by Oliver to ensure that Starling City continues to stay calm, while at the same time a new version of Vertigo starts to flood the streets. This is an episode that really sets off a chain of events which will eventually lead to chaos, and also the presence of Ra’s al Ghul (Matt Nable) as the Big Bad for the season. Just remember here along the way that these things do very much take time to develop.

Later this week, we will be back in order to podcast the “Arrow” premiere, but for the time being, be sure to share some of your early thoughts and expectations with a comment! Also, you can sign up now in the event you want more scoop on everything we cover via our CarterMatt Newsletter today.
