‘The Blacklist’ season 2, episode 4 preview: Megan Boone, James Spader battle ‘Dr. Linus Kreel’

The Blacklist logo any seasonApparently, “The Blacklist” season 2 likes telling stories about evil doctors who do very evil things. Monday night’s new episode of the show was entitled “Dr. James Covington,” and we are now moving into the next episode “Dr. Linus Creel.”

The difference between Covington and Creel, though, is fairly simple. While Covington is more about “lending” organs and doing controversial things, Creel is more of a master psychologist who seems to be turning normal people into killers. It’s almost this show’s version of Joe Carroll on “The Following.” (Hopefully, this makes a whole lot more sense than what we see on that show regularly.)

If you want to know a little more about what to expect, then take a look at the attached synopsis:

“After a series of seemingly nonviolent citizens become killers, Red (James Spader) tips off Liz (Megan Boone) that a dangerous social-psychological experiment may be underway. Elsewhere, Red tries to convince, Naomi (Mary-Louise Parker) and her husband into accepting a complicated proposition.”

The biggest takeaway from the promo that aired after tonight’s episode was mostly that it will hopefully be the episode that starts to answer key questions about Naomi Hyland, including who she is, why she is important, and what her connection and history are to Reddington. With this information, we can only hope that things will start to make even more sense. We’re okay with not knowing everything, but only for a limited amount of time before getting frustrated and wanting more.
