‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 6, episode 3 preview: Hetty’s struggles in Washington

This Hetty story on “NCIS: Los Angeles” has certainly so far been a little bit all over the place so far, and has alternated at times from being very dramatic to also being very and even romantic in a very bizarre way. We’re rooting for Deeks and Kensi more than ever!

So where does the story go from here? Unfortunately, the synopsis below for “Praesidium” did not give away too much, at least other than the fact that Leon Vance from the flagship “NCIS” is going to be stopping by as the Hetty story starts to really take more shape. Just take a look at the synopsis below:

“The NCIS: LA team takes action to protect one of their own while being interrogated by the Department of Justice. Meanwhile, Nell goes undercover as Hetty, and Director Leon Vance gives Hetty disturbing news while she is in Washington.”

So far, we admit to being somewhat torn when it comes to what is going on with Hetty right now. From one vantage point, we’re glad to see the character getting such a substantial story arc! She deserves it, given everything that we’ve seen from her over the past five-plus seasons. However, on the flip side, it is a little strange to see her so detached a good percentage of the time from the remainder of the team. We like seeing Hetty in the thick of things back in the city! Then again, we know that is coming up eventually.
