‘The Walking Dead’ season 5: What former cast member has just teamed up with ‘Lost’ alum?

“The Walking Dead” has become a global phenomenon, and thanks to that, almost anyone who appeared on the show in a substantial way is probably going to at least have an opportunity to do something else.

With that in mind, we are turning now to some of the latest news when it comes to Sarah Wayne Callies, who you most likely know otherwise from her role as Lori on the long-running AMC series. Sources confirm that Callies will star alongside “Lost” alum Josh Holloway in “Colony,” a new USA pilot that is from former “Lost” co-showrunner Carlton Cuse.

The pilot for the story is simple enough. The series is set in Los Angeles, and it revolves around a group of people who try to make a decent life for themselves following an alien invasion. For those curious, it does seem as though there are already comparisons aplenty here with “The Walking Dead.” Callies will also be playing Katie Bowman, the wife of former FBI Agent Will Bowman, who is Holloway’s character. The couple also has three children.

Hopefully, this is a decent show, and we’re also hoping that it could be one to put USA back on the map a little bit. The network has had a very difficult summer, and it needs to do something in order to build up a little bit of momentum again. Perhaps this series could be what does the trick.
