‘Ink Master: Rivals’ season 5, episode 7 preview: Emily Elegado’s illness, and little sympathy
Last week on “Ink Master: Rivals” Emily Elegado was given a straight up reality check: Both of her tattoos landed her in the bottom and Chris Nunez told her to her face that if he had his way that he would’ve sent her home over Robbie Scott (we will miss you Robbie!). Is the stress of the competition going to start to break Emily down?
In the preview for next week’s all new episode we saw Emily dealing with some sort of medical problem. She was outside of the loft, by herself, doubled over in pain. We already saw last week when Aaron Is had a tooth infection and the pain was so intense that it caused him to check out of doing one of his tattoos in fear of not being able to give the canvas a good tattoo while in that much pain. Is this going to happen this week with Emily?
Some of the other artists will call her out and say that she’s not being 100% truthful about the situation and with the house basically being divided with Emily on one side and everyone else on the other, she probably wouldn’t have expected much sympathy from anyone.
As much pain as she was in, it isn’t going to stop Emily from lashing out at the other artists for talking about a situation that they don’t know enough about, and will say that they weren’t there with her in the bathroom and therefore really don’t know what they are talking about.

I liked Sarah Miller a lot too. She had a strong personality but she can tattoo!

i’ve worked with her. she frequently gets ‘sick’ when she doesn’t get her way… which is well, frequently. she gives no respect and deserves none, and can’t believe why total strangers find her on facebook to tell her what a wretched human being she is. totally clue free, and has set women back in tattooing with her stupid corsets and her idiotic attitude. seriously nasty house as well, but hey, if you don’t care about hygiene in your tattooer, go for it. if her skill grew like her ego did, she might know a thing or two about tattooing. as it is, she is perfect for the ‘jerry springer’ style of this season.

She is the most disrespectful person I’ve ever seen. It’s really bad, she acts like she’s so much better than everyone else, and treats them like crap, and then cries when things don’t go her way. I would almost feel bad, except for the fact that I know if it was someone else crying she would be laughing and telling them to suck it up and deal with it. This season is just too much drama, and the tattoos suck by comparison. Where’s Shane when you need him?
