Tonight, Lifetime said farewell to the second season of their drama series “Witches of East End,” and with that, we are left in a position where we have to do something that we do with so many other series at this point: Question the future.
Is there still plenty of potential left with the show, and with these characters? We definitely believe that almost without question. After all, how do you answer all of those cliffhangers? We have a potential pregnancy for one, but then all of that crazy stuff in the underworld now with Wendy and Helena.
We suppose that a big part of this story for the new season could be finally getting to see someone as Helena, though it may take a little bit of time for us to get to the point where the real is cast. First and foremost, we have to figure out whether or not Lifetime plans on renewing the show. We assume that this is going to happen, if for no other reason than that the show gets pretty good buzz, and while there are some other witch-related programs out there, there are none that are quite like this one.
Hopefully, we are going to have some further news related to the show and what lies ahead very soon, but for now, we’d say to firmly expect more of what you’ve come to love over the years. Lifetime has made some very bizarre renewal decisions before, but they don’t have a lot of other signature hits right now. in a way, they need this.
