‘Better Call Saul’ spoilers: Take a look at a Bob Odenkirk series in song (seriously)

Better Call Saul season 1“Better Call Saul” is not going to be premiering on AMC until February, and who thought we were going to get a song based on the show before an official trailer?

In the video below, you can see what is now the “Better Call Saul,” performed by Junior Brown in what feels like the cheesiest commercial shoot ever. It’s basically so corny that it is all kinds of fantastic, and this was intended to be like this almost 100%.

Here’s what we can tell you about some of the finer details in this song. The lyrics were actually written by showrunners Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, and there are some shots of Bob Odenkirk’s character spread throughout this. Does this say anything else about the “Breaking Bad” spin-off? Hardly, but it is a nice little reminder that the network has not forgotten about the show just yet.

Anticipation is already high for the series, and the questions that we have are almost based a little more around scheduling than anything else. For example, is the show going to air on a night other than Sunday, or is AMC going to “Low Winter Sun” this and stick it right after “The Walking Dead”?

It’s ultimately hard to speculate much about the show, thanks mostly to how little is known. It has been said that this a prequel series, but at the same time, it has also been said that there could be other periods in Saul’s life shown. We may not know what is ultimately true until this show actually airs.
