‘NCIS: New Orleans’ episode 3 preview: Mark Harmon, Rocky Carroll guest star

Remember what we said last week about the crew over at “NCIS: New Orleans” being a pretty smart bunch? Well, they are proving it again with what is coming up in the third episode of the season, airing on Tuesday.

The title for this episode is rather cheeky fun in its own right in “Breaking Brig,” and it makes us wonder whether or not we’ll see a character named “Walter Grey” or some other reference through in there. (We wish.) What we do know is that the producers are throwing in another pair of “NCIS” stars in Mark Harmon (Gibbs) and Rocky Carroll (Vance) into this story, which is yet another way to get fans of the original show to watch. During the early part of a series, this is when you really need these viewers more than ever. If you can get them hooked, they are not very likely to turn away.

“The NCIS team investigates the crash of an armored transport bus carrying Naval brig detainees after four prisoners escape, including a black market broker who is one of the country’s biggest national security threats. Meanwhile, Pride turns to Gibbs for assistance when a case file needed for the investigation is full of redactions.”

We’re just glad for the time being that for Vance, this story is not going to be a sad one. There was a bit of a scare on Tuesday night’s new episode, where it looked almost like he could be facing terminal illness due to some spots on his lungs.
