‘The Amazing Race 25’ episode 3 preview: Will injury force Michael & Scott out?

Next week, “The Amazing Race” is at least traveling somewhere new. How do we know that? We see #TheFirefighters Michael & Scott have a problem aboard an airplane.

Specifically, we are talking here in terms of an injury. We have seen this sort of thing surface on the show before, and typically, it is hard to keep racing if the injury is serious. Even winners Dave & Connor had to check out their first season, though to be fair that is one of the most serious injuries out there in an ACL.

To be fair, the good news for Michael & Scott is that typically, being in the promo is a good sign of what is not going to happen. Take, for example, how the promos for tonight’s episode focused all around Shelley & Nici melting down, and did not really show much of Dennis & Isabelle. They were ultimately the pair that was sent home.

Away from the injury, this upcoming episode is also going to feature something that is almost always fun: An animal challenge! While we understand that these challenges are somewhat random because you never know if an animal will cooperate, it does make us look back fondly on “my ox is broken!” and other great moments over the course of the entire series.

As for who will succeed here, it’s hard to argue against anyone other than Adam & Bethany and Jim & Misti. These pairs are in complete beast mode at the moment, and there is no sign of either slowing down.
