‘The Good Wife’ season 6 spoilers: Alicia’s big decision wages on

The Good WifeHow long can you expect Alicia Florrick to debate over the State’s Attorney job on “The Good Wife“? Well, we can at least confirm that this is at least a four-episode story.

Recently, CBS released the official synopsis for “Oppo Research,” the new episode of the show airing a week from Sunday on October 12. Given that this is up against “The Walking Dead,” competition is obviously fierce on this one.

If you want to get some further news in terms of what to expect, just take a look at the official synopsis below:

“When Alicia agrees to further explore the option of running for State’s Attorney, Eli brings a respected campaign manager into the fold to help her decide once and for all.”

There are some notable guest stars appearing in this episode, with one of the most-prominent ones being the return of Stockard Channing as Alicia’s mother. Also, you will see Connie Nielsen come on in a prominent part of her own. If there is one thing that this show is known for, isn’t it the impressive lineup that they get on here every week?

In the end, we do hope that this story revolving around Alicia and her possible candidacy reaches some sort of conclusion soon. We understand that Alicia has certainly had her reasons for not being able to decide what to do (Cary’s situation is a good one), but things are only going to start to get really interesting for her once a choice is in fact made.
