‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 5, episode 2 review: Danny’s missing brother causes chaos

Hawaii Five-0 -Danny’s brother (Matt) is going to be playing a big role in tonight’s all new episode of “Hawaii Five-0” as he seems to be the key person behind why Danny is being targeted for money. Who is this mysterious man (Marco) asking for money and where is Danny’s brother?

Marco has been taken into custody (for breaking into Danny’s home) and he tells Danny that his brother, Matt, owes him over 18 million dollars. Danny lets Marco know that he hasn’t seen or spoken to his brother in 3 years and doesn’t know anything about the cash. Marco tells him that he better find the money to pay him back, but instead Danny throws him in lock up.

Marco is able to lawyer up and he is sprung from jail faster then Danny had hoped. He is able to catch Marco as he is leaving the police station and he asks Danny for his money, saying that he refuses to leave until he gets his money. He also reveals that he has Matt and that unless he gets his money back he won’t ever see the light of day: Will Danny find Matt or will he find Marcos money?

As for Jerry, well he is still digging into the book store that he is sure is a front for a money laundering operation (and it looks like he’s right), and now they are digging into him. looks like we are going to see a pretty great story arch for Jerry this season.

We loved seeing William Mapother on “Hawaii Five-0”: It’s always great to see more “Lost” alumni on the show, even if it’s just a one-off for the “case of the week”.  Episode Grade: B +
