‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 5, episode 2 preview: Danny demands to see his brother

Friday night, “Hawaii Five-0” returns with yet another new episode that works to raise one important question: Are we any closer to finding Danny’s brother? As of right now, Scott Caan’s character is being forced to find an enormous sum of money (especially for a guy in his profession) in order to get him back.

The sneak peek video below is really all about the interrogation, and some of the circumstances that could be getting in the way of having this rescue mission happen. Basically, Danny’s brother has sunk his own ship, and if he is to ever surface again, someone is going to have to think of some creative ways to get him back.

At the moment, though, what makes this particular mystery so interesting is just how much mystery there actually is surrounding it. For example, nobody really knows whether or not we are even going to see Dane Cook. Maybe he appears in this episode or the next one, or maybe he doesn’t. He’s not listed on any of the press releases, and while we know that he is a polarizing actor, it would be a little strange to have stories that are all about him here, and yet at the same time not have him actually turn up in any way.

Then again, we still are in the extremely early portion of this season, and maybe this is something we’ll find out a little more on over time.
