‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 6, episode 2 preview: Hetty’s investigation, more in ‘Inelegant Heart’

On Monday night’s season 6 premiere of “NCIS: Los Angeles,” you probably saw more crazy stuff than you ever expected, for one, Sam and Callen suddenly each managed to somehow swim their way to the surface after escaping from a submarine. In addition to that, we had Kensi head-butting Talia in the fact when she started to challenge her about Deeks. So that happened, and that should basically give you a better idea of where Kensi’s head and heart is right now.

Unfortunately, the synopsis for next week’s new episode “Inelegant Heart” fails to really do a whole lot when it comes to giving us further insight into this relationship. However, we do get to see some more news on Hetty’s investigation, and a new case that will push some of them to their limits. Take a look:

“The NCIS: LA team discovers that one of their own is compromised when they investigate the murder of a Navy contractor involved in illegal transactions of confidential data. Meanwhile, Hetty is under investigation in Washington, D.C., when the Department of Justice arrives in L.A. to investigate the team.”

We do hope that at some point this fall, the writers do finally decide to end the “will they or won’t they?” part of this relationship. After all, we feel at this point that it is pretty darn clear that they will. The only thing that is really in question is what their relationship will be like after that, and there is plenty of great story to mine here.
