‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 5: Where can you see Christmas Special clip?

“Pretty Little Liars” season 5 is going to be off of the air when it comes to new footage until the holiday season, but you don’t have to wait that long to see some more footage of Lucy Hale, Troian Bellisario, and the rest of the cast.

ABC Family announced this week that if you want to see a new sneak peek during the show’s upcoming Christmas Special, the network will be airing it during their airing of “The Hunger Games” on Sunday, October 12 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time.

The logic here from a network point of view is simple: Find a way to get even more people watching the Jennifer Lawrence movie, even if it is the sort of thing that many of them have already seen a dozen or so times. The two fan bases seem like they would also bleed over pretty well.

The charm and the hook of the “Pretty Little Liars” Christmas Special is ultimately simple: It is the only time in the show’s history that there has been an episode of the show that has aired for the holidays. This episode will show some of the Liars in the holiday spirit, but in addition to that, it will be one of the first opportunities to really see how Aria, Hanna, Emily, and Spencer all work to recover from the shocking death of Mona. This will obviously have a different impact on every one of them, with Hanna leading the way given how the two were at one point close.
