For all fans of “Hawaii Five-0,” Friday night was a big one. The show returned to CBS with all-new episodes, and we got an opportunity to see what almost felt like a feature movie within the span of a single hour. There were shootings, action, and so much more.
With all that being said, where in the world does the series go from here? Next week’s installment is entitled “Ka Makuakāne,” which translates to mean “Family Man.” Just from the synopsis below, there is not a whole lot given away:
“Five-0 investigates when the young daughter of a Navy Seal currently on a top-secret mission is kidnapped. Meanwhile, with his brother’s life on the line, Danny must locate the $18.5 million he owes his captors.”
The mystery that we are still excited to see right now revolves around Dane Cook. There seems to be a perfect storyline right to include him back into the show as Danny’s brother, but the question here is whether or not he actually will. The press release for this episode does not mention that he will be a part of the show moving forward, and opinion from fans seem to be divided. We actually felt like he was fine in the role; he’s just often judged based on his comedy, and some will never like him just on the basis of that and that alone.
As for McGarrett, we’re not too worried about him right now even after the shooting. Let’s instead celebrate that everyone is alive, and Kono had some great news this week.
