‘Big Brother 16’ finale (backyard): Christine Brecht on boos, regrets, Derrick’s cop identity
Christine Brecht was a polarizing contestant on “Big Brother 16,” and she had the experience of being booed upon leaving the house. Surprisingly, she was the only person to meet this unfortunate fate.
There was still a whole lot more to discuss when it comes to Christine, and that’s what we found out about in her interview. This was conducted by Brian Haug of WIBW in Kansas, which is kind of random but let’s go with it.
If you want some other interview highlights, take a look at the attached sidebar! You can also click here to see some more “Big Brother” highlights from the night.
On being booed – “I think that was awkward, but I gotta be honest … at least it’s something that separated me? Maybe for All-Stars, that I was so hated that I’ll come back?”
Any regrets – “Honestly, I was playing a game, and I was doing it to the best that I thought I could in the house.”
On the Battle of the Block – “I want to say so much that I hated it, but I did make it [far].”
On Derrick’s identity – “We were talking about how he would find out something about each person, and played off of it.
On Ariana Grande – “I didn’t even know who she was, to be honest. My husband had mentioned it once.”
We do feel like Christine was a big fan of the show, and had she not turned on Nicole and had that stuff go down with Cody, maybe she would have had a different response at the end of the day (to reference Caleb). Hopefully, she’ll get a chance to go back and watch it.

Well first of all I don’t believe anything that she says, I do in-fact think she had a crush on Cody and that’s why she behaved that way, she was looking for affection from him. If she ever got picked to play BB again, I for one will not watch Big Brother. She is the worst player in BB history for sure. She had no game play, the only playing she wanted was what Cody didn’t give her. Shameful!!!

Christine did what many other house guests have in the past, made a showmance.. Other than caressing, she didn’t kiss or have sexual relations with Cody, nor did she say she cared for him.. If it was a man doing the same thing as Christine, there would be hardly any uproar at all. Why? Because of the sexist attitudes.. IF she had sex with Cody then it would be an entirely different story… Seriously are Americans that sexually uptight that the sight of some married woman running their fingers through another man’s hair or caressing their arms has some up in arms?

Her gameplay and dumping the girl’s alliance (aling with amber) at first chance was why she was disliked. Her disrespect for her husband added to it. Derrick had a close relationship with Victoria….but he did not, in any way, disrespect his wife – or other women. Christine is also guilty of starting and encouraging that disgusting conversation with Franky about the guys getting Victoria drunk and gangbanging her. So no…..it wasn’t all of us being sexist…it was Christine’s tasteless personality.

I think you better watch more closely next time. She did say to Cody, “I love you”. I’m sure it wasn’t meant the way that most of us took it, but she did say it. We also don’t know whether they had sex or not.
Cody did kick Frankie out of the HOH room.

Well, when Donny won AFP I guess that solved the mystery for everyone as to why she got booed.

Atleast she’s looking forward to something positive coming out o the booing. But lets hope she learns that she needs to stop hanging all over other men and stop being such a hateful person
