‘Big Brother 16’ finale (backyard): Christine Brecht on boos, regrets, Derrick’s cop identity

Christine -Christine Brecht was a polarizing contestant on “Big Brother 16,” and she had the experience of being booed upon leaving the house. Surprisingly, she was the only person to meet this unfortunate fate.

There was still a whole lot more to discuss when it comes to Christine, and that’s what we found out about in her interview. This was conducted by Brian Haug of WIBW in Kansas, which is kind of random but let’s go with it.

If you want some other interview highlights, take a look at the attached sidebar! You can also click here to see some more “Big Brother” highlights from the night.

On being booed – “I think that was awkward, but I gotta be honest … at least it’s something that separated me? Maybe for All-Stars, that I was so hated that I’ll come back?”

Any regrets – “Honestly, I was playing a game, and I was doing it to the best that I thought I could in the house.”

On the Battle of the Block – “I want to say so much that I hated it, but I did make it [far].”

On Derrick’s identity – “We were talking about how he would find out something about each person, and played off of it.

On Ariana Grande – “I didn’t even know who she was, to be honest. My husband had mentioned it once.”

We do feel like Christine was a big fan of the show, and had she not turned on Nicole and had that stuff go down with Cody, maybe she would have had a different response at the end of the day (to reference Caleb). Hopefully, she’ll get a chance to go back and watch it.
