ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 4, episode 1 preview: Kerry Washington sets up story now

In just over 24 hours, “Scandal” is going to be back on ABC with its season 4 premiere … but you don’t have to wait that long to get some teasers all about what you can expect!

On Tuesday, the show’s leading lady Kerry Washington made an appearance on “Good Morning America,” even if this was not one of the most-revealing interviews of all time. She talked about the new clothing collection at the Limited inspired by the show, how Olivia will be different in the wake of what happened with her parents last season, and also how we are going to find out a little more about Jake and the plane during the premiere.

Kerry also made it a little clearer, just in case it was not that clear in the first place, why the show has the strict no-spoilers policy that it does. Just about everyone involved in production right now understands the value that comes with keeping things a secret, and with that in mind, nobody wants to be that horrible person who lifts the veil, and ruins all the fun for everyone.

What we would ultimately assume about the next season is that it will be both shocking and dramatic, but probably in some different ways than what we have seen so far. The last thing that “Scandal” wants to do is repeat itself, but we imagine that there are still enough avenues and directions that the show can go in that will not make something like this happen.
