It’s finally over, folks. The “Big Brother 16” live feeds ended earlier today, and we are now left sitting around and waiting for the big show to air on CBS later tonight.
What can you expect? We’ll have a breakdown of sorts a little later today, but the key pieces of information are that Cody won the first part of the Head of Household Competition, Derrick the second, and this is most likely your final two. While Derrick has not confirmed with Victoria she is going home, it feels like he is setting her up to be evicted a little bit later in the game.
Of the final three, we’ll give Derrick the most credit for two reasons.
- He has played the best game by far, and if he pulls this off, we’d proclaim him to be in the top five winners ever, maybe the top three. You can say that the Team America twist aided him greatly, and you’d be right; however, the fact that he never even went on the block all season was astounding.
- He was the only one of the final three to really speak often with us at home, and had a knowledge of the “Big Brother” fan community. He did get many of his game facts wrong, but we wonder at times if he was doing this on purpose to tilt the game in his favor.
Now, we’ll just have to wait until next year, when “Big Brother Canada 3” and “Big Brother 17” premiere. (Sadly, we don’t have time to cover the Australian version.) The show has basically been renewed, even without a major press release.
