‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 11 spoilers: Jessica Capshaw on current state of Callie, Arizona

Do you think that things for Callie and Arizona on “Grey’s Anatomy” season 11 are rather confusing at the moment? Well, it is fair to say that you are far from the only ones.

The story may pick up with the two parties in a reasonably good place and trying to figure at least a few things out, but with this show, you know already that things can turn around on a dime. Before you know it, the two could become wrapped up in constant fighting and other drama.

This is a subject that Jessica Capshaw touched on further in an interview with E! News, where she explained both where we left the two parties off earlier this year, and where there could still be some new territory for them moving forward:

“We left them talking about it and that’s where we pick up with them talking about it … There’s not much more than can happen to them that hasn’t happened to them yet, but Shonda can think of something! So far it’s been really interesting because so many of the things that I think didn’t get dealt with in terms of the core part of their relationship is being dealt with in the beginning of this season. It’s up and it’s down and it’s all around.”

We are obviously still rooting for these two characters to make it through all this and be together, but you have to remember here that this is Shonda Rhimes we’re talking about here! We would not put it past here to break the characters up a couple more times, and get them back together, before this is over.
