‘Doctor Who’ season 8, episode 5 preview: Peter Capaldi, Jenna Coleman, and ‘Time Heist’

Will the winning streak for “Doctor Who” continue? We certainly hope so, since the show has really got the momentum going for it right now. “Listen” was the best episode of the series by a mile, and we’re hoping for these big things to continue for “Time Heist.”

This episode on the surface seems at least a little bit more intent on having fun, mostly because we’re going to see The Doctor take on a very different sort of role. It may also be a bit more action-packed than what we saw this time, given that there is a villain at the end that they will need to take on.

What we wonder now when it comes to Clara is this: Is the future that we saw in tonight’s episode the one that is destined to happen? Can her future change, and can the future of the entire universe? In a way, we like to believe that the entire world of the show can be fluid like that.
