‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 5 spoilers: Get ready for a Kono story

Have you been looking forward to something on “Hawaii Five-0” that is geared mostly around the Kono character? Then you are most-likely going to be very pleased with what we have for you today.

According to Peter M. Lenkov, there is going to be one episode coming up in particular that revolves around Grace Park’s character, and you will get an opportunity to find out more on her past in the process. Speaking about this subject to Entertainment Weekly, Lenkov had the following to say:

“We’re doing a big Kono-centric episode that’s going to feature her connection with her mother, her love and affection for the ocean and where she learned to surf.”

What makes this story in particular appealing to us is that we expect that there will be a certain element of balance to it … and not just Kono balancing on a surfboard. We’re speaking about the opportunity to have some funny moments, but also something that is deep and heartfelt. Anytime you can learn more about a character, it can be a very good thing. Given just how popular Kono is, and the extended absence that we had from her at times during season 4, this is more appreciated right now than ever.

The new season of “Hawaii Five-0” premieres on CBS later this month, and one thing you can probably see tackled fairly quickly is a specific issue revolving around Wo Fat: Who is he really, and what does he want now? The 100th episode in particular may take on some of these issues, and bring them to new heights.
