‘The Blacklist’ season 2 spoilers: First details on ‘Monarch Douglas Bank’

The Blacklist logo any seasonIs “The Blacklist” trying to trick us with “location names” in their episode titles now? We can certainly understand that being a theory, based at least on what we have right now with “Monarch Douglas Bank” as the second episode of the season. This follows “Lord Baltimore” for the premiere, and “Berlin” at the end of last season.

This title was first uncovered by SpoilerTV, and we have to assume that this is probably no coincidence that there is a robbery involved in an episode with “Bank” in the title. For more, take a look at the short synopsis:

“A robbery provides Red with an opportunity to take down a questionable bank; Liz questions Red’s intentions during the course of her investigation; an impressive addition is made to Cooper’s team.”

The one part of this synopsis that we definitely do not like is the whole part about Liz questioning Red’s intentions, mostly due to the simple notion that Red and Liz having trust issues is hardly revolutionary news. As a matter of fact, we would classify this better as something that we on an almost-regular basis.

The news season of “The Blacklist” premieres on September 22, and there are clearly many questions that the show will be looking to answer. As for whether or not they will be successful in answering any of them, that is something we’re still looking to figure out. Eventually, we’ll have to learn whether or not Liz really is Red’s daughter, but there is really no rush in taking that on.
