‘The Amazing Race Canada 2’ episode 10 review: A great journey through Prince Edward Island

The Amazing Race CanadaTonight, “The Amazing Race Canada” aired an episode that we really would say was almost a knockout for them. They had a great location, some pretty great challenges, and also some competitive behavior from the teams. The only thing that could have made it better would be if someone had actually done that crazy potato Detour.

Also, what we further learned through this episode is just how crazy-good of a team Natalie & Meghan are. Even though they struggled with the AWESOME roadblock (trying to point out some of Canada’s founding fathers), they were complete beasts during the Detour and managed to catch up all the way to second. Had they been just a few seconds faster, they would have beaten Sukhi & Jinder to the finish line.

We admit that there was a part of us that absolutely loved the Olympians calling out the siblings for trying to intentionally point them in the wrong direction. The reason we find Sukhi & Jinder unlikable isn’t so much because they’ve made some underhanded moves this season; instead, it’s more about them doing this now when earlier this season they were begging for help from other teams. You can’t have it both ways and expect to be respected. If you’re going to be villains, be villains throughout.

To make this episode even better, you had a great race to the finish between Ryan & Rob and Alain & Audrey to make it to the finish line quicker. We really had no idea through most of it who was going to move on, but in the end, we almost feel bad for Alain & Audrey. The guys have been bailed out twice in non-elimination legs, including that miserable showing last week. Yet, they are still there, and we have another team eliminated who was never saved at all.

Still, it doesn’t take away from the fact that this was a heck of a great week of racing. One of the most diverse and fast-paced episodes of the season yet. Grade: A-.
