‘Teen Wolf’ season 5 spoilers: What we expect next from Dylan O’Brien, cast

For those looking for a more specific look to the future when it comes to “Teen Wolf” season 5, we’ll hopefully have a little more of the latest tonight after the season 4 finale airs.

For the sake of this article, we are looking at things a little more in generic terms. The fifth season of the show was officially ordered by MTV a little earlier this year, and is confirmed already to be going for a significantly longer order than what we had this time around. After tonight’s episode, there will most likely not be another all-new installment until June, unless of course the network decides to shake things up. In some bizarre way, you should be happy for this. We imagine that this is an exhausting show to work on given the physical and emotional toll it must take on you, especially when you add in press, fan conventions, the “Wolf Watch” aftershow, and more. These people are very deserving of a break.

What we do expect to see explored in this upcoming season, especially from Tyler Posey, Dylan O’Brien, and some of the other remaining longtime cast members (pending they survive the finale) is that of identity. Who are they as people, and what does their future hold? Can you have a future if you are a supernatural creature that is anywhere close to normal? These are all people who have to graduate high school at some point, and they cannot always have terrifying games of lacrosse playing out at night. As we get near graduation, these are questions that will most-likely continue to come out more and more.

Of course, we also expect more romance, violence, and some new mythologies, but these are more of a given than anything else.
