‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 11 spoilers: Accidents, Callie and Arizona’s decision, and more in premiere
ABC has just revealed some of the official details right now for the “Grey’s Anatomy” season 11 premiere, and it definitely sounds at the moment like we are in for quite the episode.
You’ve probably seen the posters and all of the hype already surrounding Meredith and Derek and where they may or may not stand going into this episode. With that in mind, it’s hard to say a particularly large amount about this story. Instead, let’s focus on some of the over events detailed in the official synopsis below for “I Must Have Lost It on the Wind,” which will air on Thursday, September 25 in its new time at 8:00 p.m. Eastern:
“With Cristina gone, a new doctor, Maggie Pierce (Kelly McCreary), making the rounds and Derek wanting to move to Washington DC, Meredith struggles to regain a sense of normalcy both at home and in the hospital. Meanwhile, Callie and Arizona come to a decision about surrogacy, Amelia overhears a big secret, Bailey realizes she will have to fight Alex for Cristina’s board seat and a freak accident causes two teenagers to be caught in a very compromising position.”
Clearly, Cristina is still one of the stars of the show even though she is no longer in Seattle, and that’s a nice move in some ways. We much prefer that there is a transition period over the character just suddenly being gone from the hospital, and everyone acts as though she doesn’t exist.
The story here to watch in our eyes is the one with Callie and Arizona, mostly because they have been through so much already. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like things will be any easier for them anytime soon.
