‘Big Brother 16’ review: Live updates on Double Eviction, new twist, and … Jeff & Jordan?
Tonight, “Big Brother 16” is holding its second Double Eviction of the summer, and as always, we’re going to be here with live updates every step of the way. We don’t always review episodes like this, but we find it more fun to go through every single move.
After all, tonight you have a new twist entering the game! Also, Jeff and Jordan will be on Sunday’s show! We’re not really sure what that one means, but we’re interested in finding out. Keep refreshing this page for more updates.
First eviction – This one was obvious. Nicole is heading out, and in unanimous fashion. Nicole knew it was coming too, so there was no suspense here.
First Head of Household – Is this the shortest HoH Competition ever? It lasted just a few seconds, and thanks to that we were stuck with a lengthy discussion about the competition within the house.
Nominations – As expected, Derrick put up Christine and Victoria, saying that Frankie was going to be the backdoor target in the event that someone wins Veto. Blaming on the house feels like a bad move in this instance, mostly because it looks obvious that he doesn’t want the blood on his hands.
Power of Veto – Frankie won the Veto, which basically justifies further the decision by Derrick to not put the guy on the block. This means that he has the power, and we’ll have to see if anything big happens.
Second Eviction – As expected, Christine was the second person evicted from the game, which may have been a slight shock to her … and so may have the boos. We are not a big fan of Christine’s by any stretch of the imagination, but the whole self-righteous act from Frankie after she left was beyond irritating. Little does he know America wants to boo him just as much.
The twist – Apparently, bushing a golden button could send this entire upcoming week into Rewind. That sounds okay, but it’s probably not going to change anything other than Victoria being nominated and possibly leaving again.
