‘The Blacklist’ season 2 spoilers: First official details from ‘Lord Baltimore’

Love “The Blacklist”? Then you should rejoice now at the news we are getting so much closer to the new season premiering on NBC. After all, we could not be any more excited if we were to try!

The first episode back for the show carries with it the title of “Lord Baltimore,” which is certainly cryptic enough … until you at least read the attached synopsis. In this, it is revealed a little more clearly that Lord Baltimore is actually the latest threat in Raymond Reddington’s life, and could be in many ways either an asset to Berlin, or just the villain of the week:

“Red continues to battle Berlin (guest star Peter Stormare) and faces a new threat from a man named Lord Baltimore. An important person comes back from the past into Red’s world. Meanwhile, Liz (Megan Boone) tries to move forward with her life after her showdown with Tom (Ryan Eggold).”

This episode is the one to feature a guest appearance from Krysten Ritter of “Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23,” though you will also see an appearance in here, as well, from none other than Mary-Louise Parker of “Weeds” fame. She will be around for a little while in the character of Naomi, who has at least some sort of tie to James Spader’s character. One of the real mysteries to come out of this story will just be what sort of connection this really is.

The season premieres on Monday, September 22, and we will have further updates before then.
