‘Arrow’ season 3 spoilers: See Oliver, Felicity in first premiere photos

It’s premiere photo season! Apparently, we are close enough to new seasons of some of your favorite shows starting for networks to start to unload some of the latest promotional material.

When it comes to “Arrow’s” season 3 premiere on October 8, we first of all have to give a little bit of praise for this Stephen Amell image. It, to be frank, looks awesome.  It’s not from a straight angle, and therefore you see just enough of his face to look distinctive, but also the image also still hides enough of his face to be effective.

As for the other image we have here, it is strictly of the Oliver / Felicity variety … and is she holding his hand?! Sorry, we’ll stop the hyperventilating here. We’re just reminded that this is the episode where the two parties go on a date, and we are still very much hoping that this is not one of those tricks again like we had during the season 3 finale.

While The CW was kind enough to release these images, we do still know that they are hiding quite a bit when it comes to the story. There’s still no shot in here of Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer, or evidence as to what may spoil the good time that Oliver and Felicity were about to have while out in Starling City. The show is promoting, while at the same time keeping some of their cards close to the vest. Given the popularity of “Arrow,” and the fact that millions will watch regardless, we cannot really blame them.
