ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4 spoilers: A different attitude for Victoria Grayson?

Victoria Grayson is coming into “Revenge” season 4 in an interesting position. For one, she may be the central focus of the story now in some ways, given that she is the one suddenly in need of the word in the title. She is out to get back at Emily Thorne for what she has done to hear, but what may surprise you for the time being is that Victoria is not going to be that active in seeking out Emily and her vengeance … at least at first.

Speaking to TVLine, executive producer Sunil Nayar claims that when the story picks back up for Victoria, “you’re going to find her in a very new state of mind…. There’s almost a calm about her.” To us, this is extremely surprising given that we thought she would be completely brimming over with rage, and understandably so given that she probably feels justifiably angry.

But can Victoria really have the last laugh? First of all, we imagine that she will not be behind the walls of an asylum forever, and will therefore have an opportunity to some point to get back at the people she feels are responsible for what happened to her. What may surprise both her and Emily collectively is that David Clarke is still alive, and this may be a game-changer for the entire series. With that in mind, though, Nayar teases that this is not a thread that will be resolved right away, as the show really plans to take its time having this reveal be known to all the characters.
