‘Arrow’ season 3 spoilers: A small look at premiere dialogue
In our quest to provide you continual updates on all things “Arrow,” we come here today with something pretty great: A line of dialogue from the season 3 premiere. As for what it could mean, that is a little bit more open to interpretation.
This is basically a line of dialogue from none other than Felicity Smoak, and per the writers’ official Twitter account, it goes as follows:
“What’re you doing here? And the answer better not be stalking me.”
Personally, we’re hoping that this is some sort of flirtation between her and Oliver Queen, but that is probably just the ‘shipper in us that is saying that. The one reason why it wouldn’t be Oliver is just because we don’t know if she would ask Oliver what he was doing being anywhere. With her feelings being what they are, she may just be happy that he is around.
What we know for the time being about Oliver and Felicity in the big premiere is that Oliver finally asks her out, she seemingly accepts, and then we’re left to wonder. Is there another motivation here? We’ll believe it to be genuine when we actually see it as genuine. After everything that we have been through covering the show at this point, it really is better to ask the question like this than any other way. Otherwise, you really run the risk of being let down in the end.
Ultimately, we’ll learn the answer come Wednesday, October 8 … in addition to whatever Felicity has going on with this aforementioned bit of dialogue.
