‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 2 spoilers: See Clark Gregg (and new footage!) in first promo

Thank goodness for the fall season starting up in the near future. Thanks to that, we’re finally getting some footage for your favorite shows.

When it comes to Marvel’s “Agents of SHIELD,” what is great is that we can enter this season with actual expectations now. Before it began, we wondered if it there was any way that it could actually meet the level of insane hype that was out there for it. At first, it honestly was a letdown, and it wasn’t doing a very good at all keeping itself to the level it needed to be. It wasn’t until midseason that things started to really turn around and get exciting, and then the whole HYDRA storyline was awesome. Now, we feel like the show can be exactly what we wanted to be from the very beginning.

Some of the new additions to this season include Lucy Lawless (as a woman with ties to Clark Gregg’s Coulson and his past), “Wonder Woman” pilot star Adrianne Palicki, and “Twin Peaks” alum Kyle MacLachlan. The producers have done a good job of getting a great group of people together this time, which is something they seemed wary about from a celebrity perspective the first time around. Why do that? Our feeling is that the show didn’t want to become about the people on the show over the show itself. We certainly understand that.

This season begins on Tuesday, September 24, and we figure that for it, the biggest challenge is mostly going to be airing at a new time in 9:00 p.m. Eastern time.
