‘Teen Wolf’ season 4, episode 11 preview: Is this very bad news for Derek?

Monday night marks the penultimate episode of “Teen Wolf” season 4, or as we like to refer to it now, the “death episode.” Penultimate episodes have become very hot hours to kill of characters, since it creates a huge shocker, generates more interest in a finale, and then also allows the show time to tie together a story before going off of the air.

What we wonder about for the time being is this: Is the show about to make a huge move, and kill off a character in Derek who has been a part of the proceedings since the beginning? They certainly want you to at least think that this is a possibility, based on the latest sneak peek below. In the video, you can see Lydia collide with Derek after he spends a dangerous morning after with Braeden, and judging by the way that she is screaming, this could be seen as a very big warning.

With all of this being said, we still have a very hard time thinking that this character could actually be in serious danger. Just think about it for a minute here. Why would the show hint so much that something is happening? It feels almost like a red herring, and that the real reason to be afraid should be for another character.

At this point, though, we feel like the biggest surprise for “Teen Wolf” would actually be if they made the decision to not kill of anyone. After all, we basically expect someone to die at this point, thanks mostly to the precedent that has been established here over the years.
