‘Bachelor in Paradise’ spoilers: Will there be a reunion show?

If “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” have an “After the Final Rose” special, what does “Bachelor in Paradise” have (other than some contestants begging for another chance to find love)? Well, it’s looking very possible like the ABC series will have its own post-show reunion where you can get further updates on where everyone is since leaving the show.

Speaking to TV Guide on the subject of the show, host Chris Harrison explained that a reunion is something that seems like it could and probably will happen before the first week of the fall season:

We are in heavy talks. As I said, if there was ever a show that needed it, it’s this one. So we’re desperately trying to figure it out.”

To us, this only feels inevitable. The ratings have not necessarily been stellar for the series, but they haven’t been that much worse than this past season of “The Bachelorette.” Plus, “Rising Star” was awful and while “The Quest” is great, there isn’t enough of a viewership to actually sustain the series in the long-term. ABC needs to at least have something else on the air.

Plus, one other motivation for giving this show a worthy send-off is simply that you don’t have a whole lot else to air at 10:00 p.m. Eastern. We’re going to see the final days of “Mistresses” for the summer tomorrow night, and after that, the timeslot will suddenly become open yet again for other possibilities.

As of right now, there is one relationship on the show in Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul that seems built to last. Maybe there could be something for Cody Sattler / Michelle Money or Robert Graham / Sarah Herron, but we’re still a little too early to tell.
