‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 3 spoilers: Prepare to meet another sibling

Who knew that siblings were going to be such a big theme on “Beauty and the Beast” season 3?

As you have probably heard a million times by now (largely thanks to people continually trying to pass it off as “breaking news” even though it was confirmed months ago), Heather is going to be a mostly-permanent fixture on the new season. This is good for Cat, since it gives her another foil to go along with Tess and Vincent, and also a touch of family.

Now, we’re learning that Tess is getting the same exact thing. According to a new report coming in now from TVLine, the show is going to be introducing soon the character of Tess’ brother Jamie. He, like Tess, is in the world of law enforcement, and he is successful enough that he could be on the way to a promotion of his own. He’s also going to be hell-bent at times on messing with his sister’s boyfriend JT, which is going to force him at times to fight back and prove himself.

It’s nice to see here mostly that even with their new jobs working to track down crazy government creatures, the show is making sure that Cat and Vincent are not the only people on the show who have stuff going on. Tess and JT became fan favorites last season even more than they had previously, so we’ll just have to wait and see if this momentum keeps up and they continue to have good stories moving forward.
