‘Chicago Fire’ season 3 spoilers: Another struggle in first episode

When the third season of “Chicago Fire” picks up on NBC, there is one thing in particular you can expect to see coming up: One character biting the dust. It has already been confirmed that there will be someone who loses their life in Firehouse 51 within the opening minutes of the season, and that loss will echo through the many months ahead.

Just in case there you want some other details, TV Guide reports that somehow, this is not going to be the only hardship that these characters go through when this episode airs. The firefighters are also going to have to deal with an accident for Truck 81, and at least one character will be injured as a result of that. Just in case this was not bad enough for you, the person behind the wheel is also going to be forced to take some blame for what happened in the crash. This is going to be a complicated, traumatic episode, and even for the living, there may be a number of reasons for them to feel guilty, as well.

This season will premiere on NBC come Tuesday, September 23, and kick off a great three-day event for those who love the Dick Wolf franchise. You’re going to get this show, and then the very next day you’re going to be getting the premieres of “Law & Order: SVU” and “Chicago PD.” All three of these shows are worth watching, since they’re all going to have some pretty big stuff happening.

Is there anything in particular you want to see on the “Chicago Fire” premiere … other than just hoping that everyone survives by some miracle? Share below.
