‘Teen Wolf’ season 4 finale will run 15 minutes longer
Just in case you are being bummed out at present about “Teen Wolf” not having a winter run this season, we come bearing what is pretty good news about the show’s upcoming finale: It will be a little bit longer than the standard hour!
In a post on Twitter, BuzzFeed’s Jarett Wieselman claims that the last episode (which is still heavily mysterious) will run for an hour and 15 minutes, which should give you at least a little bit more time to give you most of the closure that you need right now. This episode looks to be, for the most part, insanely dramatic. After all, you have to create a cliffhanger that is so good, nobody is going to mind waiting for a full nine months or so for the show to come back on the air.
Could we see someone die again? It’s hard to rule that out given the nature of this show. If we were one of the cast members, we would almost arrive to work expecting the worst, and to be surprised if something a little bit different happens down the line.
Having extended episodes is something that the cable world has really come to love and embrace over the years. Shows like “Sons of Anarchy” and “Fargo” do it on a regular basis, and “Game of Thrones” and “True Blood” both recently increased their own run times by ten minutes or so for their respective finales.
We’ll have so much more news on this big episode in a week, so stay tuned for more of that.
