Is ‘Teen Wolf’ season 4, ‘The Fosters,’ or ‘Switched at Birth’ new tonight?

Teen Wolf -Fans of “Teen Wolf” may find the story on MTV to be at times confusing, and they may also think the same exact thing right now about the scheduling.

Here is the situation that we are currently looking at. As a way to ensure that there are higher ratings to go along with the Video Music Awards, the latest “Teen Wolf” episode “Monstrous” aired on Sunday at 7:00 p.m. Eastern. Thanks to this, there is no new airing of the show tonight. However, you can see “Monstrous” again at 10:00 following a repeat airing of the VMAs, or for the first time in its normal timeslot if you missed it airing last night. It’s certainly understandable, given that it is pretty darn impossible to reach everyone on a weekly basis about a time change.

So what is there to really watch instead? It is mostly just other award shows. The Emmys are taking over starting in primetime on NBC, and the only real other options for major new programming are “MasterChef” on Fox,” “Mistresses” on ABC after “Bachelor in Paradise,” “Under the Dome” on CBS, or “America’s Next Top Model” over on The CW.

For those of you looking for other cable shows with young audiences, both “Switched at Birth” and “The Fosters” are over for the summer. The two series aired their finales last week, with “Switched at Birth” season 4 and “The Fosters” season 2B each likely starting up in January. “Teen Wolf” still has two episodes left starting next week, and then it will be done most likely until the summer of 2015.
