‘Mistresses’ season 2, episode 12 review: Will Harry tell Joss how he feels?
Last time on “Mistresses” we saw Harry hook up with his new boss Greta and it seemed to have a direct link to the news of Joss getting married to Scott. There are clearly some underlying feelings between these two and the show is building towards this “will they/won’t they” scenario. Let’s see what’s going on in tonight’s episode.
Karen: Ben showing up on Karen’s door was a surprise, but even more surprising was why he was there. He was there to tell her that he has HIV and that she should go and get tested. Karen goes to the doctor, but loses her nerve before getting the test, so she takes some time to prepare herself and finally goes back to get the test.
Savi: We were hoping that Savi wasn’t going to go down this romantic road with Zach, but she accepted his dinner invitation, so here we are. Luckily the date is a complete failure and there’s no chemistry between them at all and Savi tries to blow off a second date request. Zach is able to convince her to give him a second chance and she accepts, but this time instead of taking her a stuffy restaurant, he takes her to a bar he frequents that’s more his scene. Afterwards they jump on his motorcycle (her car got towed) and in a moment of complete terror as her life flashed before her eyes she had a moment of clarity. What is that moment? We suspect that it will be that she wants to be with Harry, but we’ll have to wait until next week to find out.
April: We weren’t sure what she was going to do when she got the cell phone from Paul, but the FBI’s treats worked and she gives the phone to them. The FBI tells April to phone Paul, but when she calls it’s just a recorded message. The FBI make plans to set up in Aprils home for when Paul calls, so she sends Lucy away for a class trip, but when she forgets her ipod, she comes home to see Daniel in the house. She immediately thinks that Daniel and April are trying to get back together and is thrilled. April goes to Dominic for help right before calling Paul and telling him that the FBI are after him. They arrest her and Dominic is there as her attorney.
Joss: She learned the hard way that Harry is having a romantic relationship with Greta after spotting them through a window. When Joss tries to ask Harry about Greta, Harry gets very defensive and angry with with her and she’s very confused by his aggressive attitude towards her. Joss goes out with Scott’s mom and goes on and on about Harry, until she tells Joss how inappropriate it is.
Things start to get really weird when Scott comes to Harry to ask his advice on what to get her as an engagement gift (since the car was a bust). He tells Scott to get her a record player, because she never got to meet her father and all she has from him is a case of his records. Such a thoughtful gift – we love Harry, he really understands her.
Harry ends up moving the opening of the new restaurant to the same weekend as Joss’ engagement party and she freaks out on him when she finds out that he “forgot”. She feels betrayed because she has done everything for him, gotten him this job, pulled him out of the dumps over Savi and he’s lashing out at her, telling her that her party is stupid and that the wedding’s not even going to happen anyway. The fight turns into a big blow out and we worry about their friendship.
“Mistresses” has done a fantastic job of amping up the drama and tension this season, especially when it comes to the Joss and Harry relationship. We never thought we would be rooting for these two to get together, but here we are! Episode grade: A

Harry can tell Joss how he feels but he knows it’s a mistae. Joss and Scott belong together without any further scandals. Joss gas always been involved with scandals and its time for hers to settle down. Karen needs to find out she isn’t HIV positive, realize how short life can be, and go to NY to be with Jacob. Or Karen finds out she is HIV positive and decides to be with Ben since they really did hit it off (and she didn’t infect anyone else). April needs a new twist and should be with Dominic without sabotaging Savi’s friendship. Savi needs to find her way back to Harry-this Zak thing is creepy.

Keep Joss with Scott!! Justin Hartley would be a great addition to the cast! Savi should give it a go with someone new, Harry and her have passed although I do like Savi & Harry better the Joss & Harry as they to me shouldn’t mix as their past as family would seem strange. I agree with below – Off limits! Karen should move to Boston……. To flaky lately not going anywhere, April another direction with confidence would be nice. I like the show but this season I could have taken it or left it…..

I’m rooting against Harry and Joss. Sorry but sibling ex-whatevers are off limits because YUCK!
I’m rooting for Harry to have a fantastic opening and an active single life as the hottest chef in town and also for Joss and Scott to work out. April needs a new love interest (hopefully not Dom) and Karen needs to stop making decisions like a 17 year old girl. I don’t feel the chemistry with Savi and Zach so I think she needs to find someone new or just concentrate on career.
I’d be surprised if this show doesn’t come back.

I’ve been rooting for Harry and Joss for several episodes now. I sincerely hope that SOMETHING becomes of those two because it’s evident how he feels for her. I’m just hoping that Savi doesn’t decide that she wants Harry back after everything.
Mistresses gets better and better with every episode!
