Curtis Armstrong of ‘King of the Nerds’ accepts our ALS Ice Bucket Challenge (video)
Earlier this week, we decided to issue our own ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, and in turn passed it along to some of the creative minds behind our favorite shows.
Now, we’re pleased to bring you a response! Curtis Armstrong, co-host and executive producer of “King of the Nerds” (who of course is also known for such awesome things as “Revenge of the Nerds” and playing Metatron on “Supernatural“) responded today with a video of his own. The irony should be apparent from the first few seconds: Here you have Curtis, committing an act for charity and watering a garden in desperate need right now given the drought, wearing a t-shirt with “Jerk” written on it. Furthest thing from a jerk, we say!
Another highlight of the video? We won’t spoil everything, but the reaction to the ice water is pretty priceless. Also, we have no idea who was dumping the water on him. Maybe NerdBot from “King of the Nerds” was pouring it on him from the roof.
So of course, massive applause goes out to Curtis for taking part in the challenge, and passing it along to all nerds to take part! Project ALS is a charity that we’ve been pushing for most of this campaign, and they are a worthy organization for your donations.
Of course, we will also keep you posted on the latest “King of the Nerds” updates leading up to the third season. We have been dormant as of late on the subject like a sleeping tiger, but we shall roar again when the cast is revealed and we have something further to discuss. Will there again be preview articles, reviews, and discussions? You can count on it.
We’re signing off for now, but as always, you can click here if you want some further TV scoop from us via our CarterMatt Newsletter.
