‘The Last Ship’ finale spoilers: Take an extended look at ‘No Place Like Home’

Sunday night, all bets are off on “The Last Ship.” The season finale will air on TNT, and you have to think that with that, lives are at stake on a certain level. (There’s probably not that much tension, though; there is a second season of the show ordered already, so clearly the show has no plans to kill everyone off.)

Still, the network has changed things up a little today with a longer sneak peek showing you some of what Chandler and company are going to be going through as they continue struggling to stay alive right now in the midst of some crazy stuff happening all around them. There may also be an interesting level of guilt thrown in here, as well, once you remember that one of the only real reasons why these characters are in this situation is because of the fact that so many resources were used to save Eric Dane’s character in the first place.

Just as you would expect from this or probably any other sneak peek when it comes to this show, things start to truly get crazy right around the time that the video comes to a close. Sad, really, but that is just the way things go when a show tries desperately to get you to watch.

Hopefully, “The Last Ship” will end up delivering when it comes to being one of the best summer finales that we have seen. It definitely has the potential and the budget to make things epic, and their only real challenge is topping everything that they did before.
