‘Call the Midwife’ season 4: Laura Main still keeps in touch with Jessica Raine
Let’s face it: It is still going to be a little while before we end up seeing “Call the Midwife” season 4 on TV. The series will be back on the BBC most likely in January, and for viewers in America, you’re going to have to wait even longer until the show comes back in March.
So what can you expect specifically? the word “specifically” may really be a problem here, given that it is very hard to get details out of anyone for contractual reasons. Plus, who wants to ruin everything in advance?
What we can at least tell you is that Laura Main is particularly enjoying her new story as Shelagh, especially when it comes to getting an opportunity to work with a young infant who plays baby Angela on the show. For more, just see what she had to say in a chat with the Daily Record:
“She’s called Alice and she’s gorgeous. It’s a treat when she’s on set. We’re getting to know each other – she is comfortable with me and seems pleased to see me, which is lovely.
“The scripts are great for this series. Hopefully, it will be a good one.”
As for what the relationship is like now between Main and her former co-star Jessica Raine, it still looks like things are good despite the latter’s sudden exit from the series after this past season. Main says that the two still see each other and remain in touch, which is proof that the bonds you make while filming these series really are substantial.
