‘Arrow’ season 3: Emily Bett Rickards has fun with Felicity’s secrets
If you love Felicity Smoak (which probably means the majority of this article’s readership), there is an “Arrow” episode coming up this season that you are probably looking forward to more than most others: “The Secret Origins of Felicity Smoak.” You are also probably excited with the news that you will understandably probably learn more about this character in this hour of TV than you have to date.
Well, you’re still going to have a very hard time figuring out some of the finer details on what this story is about … though we did find Emily Bett Rickards’ dialog with the show’s official writers on Twitter to be very entertaining. Let’s go through in a step-by-step process.
- Emily first writes to them that “Felicity [Smoak’s] secret origin has… so many secrets.
- The writers then in turn reply with a “shh” remark.
- Emily them replies by saying “I want to come party in the room and scope the secrets like a spy. I’ll bring comaupcakes. (You eat. You pass out. I learn).” Classic, and she is also well aware of the writers’ love for baked goods.
Even if we do not get much more about this episode until it is closer to airing, we know that we will receive many great things. Charlotte Ross will play Felicity’s mom, and hopefully through here we’ll get some more clues about her dad, and how she ended up in the career that she has today.
