Hats off to the casting department for “Hawaii Five-0” right now. Not only has the show managed to somehow get a major role for Carol Burnett, but they have also now managed to make sure that a certain real-life Jersey boy will be joining the show, as well.
According to a new report from Entertainment Weekly, Frankie Valli is going to be appearing in an upcoming episode of the CBS hit as the fiance of Burnett’s character of Aunt Deb, and his name is Leonard Campbell. Professionally, he is a former shop teacher, but is in the process now of battling Stage 4 leukemia and has to figure out what to do with the rest of his life.
Apparently, that does include trying to marry Deb. The two parties are going to be heading to Oahu in order to tie the knot, but there may be some problems that are hidden somewhere in here. Specifically, McGarrett is going to suspect that this is somethin that Leonard is hiding from his fiancee that could change everything about their relationship.
So how does this show continue to rake in so many big guest stars? We imagine that the quality of the roles is part of it, and we wonder how much the location also plays a factor. While it is quite a flight out there, at the same time you can work, and then decide to get a little vacation time in there, as well.
