‘The Good Wife’ season 6 spoilers: Kyle MacLachlan to return alongside Carrie Preston
You may have heard already that Carrie Preston was going to be back on “The Good Wife” season 6 at some point; now, you’re getting a chance to find out that she will not be coming back on the series alone.
Per TVLine, Kyle MacLachlan is also poised to go back to the CBS drama at some point in the role of Josh Perotti, and will share plenty of screen time with Preston’s Elsbeth. These two were certainly close in many ways the last time that they were on the show together, and we have little doubt this will change this time.
Preston was at the Creative Arts Emmys on Saturday, and she told the website the following about getting to work with Kyle again:
“They haven’t sent me any scripts [yet]… the only thing I know is that he and I have a little sparing thing that we do … I am looking forward to getting back in the ring with him for another round.”
This is just the latest stop in the road for the veteran actor, who recently returned to “How I Met Your Mother” as The Captain, and is going to also be appearing on Marvel’s “Agents of SHIELD” this coming season. His other major TV credits include “Twin Peaks” and a lengthy arc on “Sex and the City.”
“The Good Wife” is still getting together a roster of notable guest stars for this coming season, but you better believe it will be fantastic once again. You can click here to see a roster of the people we know for sure are coming on, and hopefully some others will be announced in the near future.
